This Build-It Kit from BD Diesel Performance is intended for seasoned builders who want to rebuild their own transmission using the same proven components found in BD’s performance transmission assemblies. Each kit includes essential rebuild parts and gaskets, with configurations available from stock horsepower levels up through advanced performance builds.
The included BD ProForce 3D torque converter is engineered with a strength-focused design that prioritizes balance, durability, and long service life. The CNC-machined billet cover resists warping and improper balancing while maintaining factory height. The clutch piston and damper assembly are engineered for increased strength while retaining smooth, reliable vibration damping. A self-centering trapezoid clutch tooth design ensures proper alignment, reduced wear, and extended converter life.
